Originally from Canada, Lauren is a London (UK) based yoga and Pilates instructor. She discovered yoga while at university in Toronto, and dabbled in different styles for a few years until a move to London introduced her to a Shiva Rea video, and a stressful job got her hooked into a regular yoga practice with various London teachers. Lauren completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2012 and her 500-hour yoga teacher training in 2015 – both with YogaLondon. In an effort to build strength and stay fit while recovering from various injuries, Lauren re-discovered Pilates, and completed her Level 3 mat Pilates certification in 2015 with HFE. In class, Lauren focuses on alignment, breath, and bringing a sense of calm to the time spent on the mat – both for Pilates and for yoga. She hopes that students leave the class feeling toned, stronger, taller and more relaxed.
