This is what I’ve been flowing to these days. Upbeat and funky, it’s the perfect summer yoga mix.
I’ve been on holiday this month, so the March yoga playlist is inspired by travel, adventure, free spirits and free time.
Winter this year has been cold and grey … so very dark and grey. To keep my spirits bright and my body warm, I continue my yoga practice, but it is a little slower and more chilled, like all things in the northern hemisphere at this time. Here’s my favourite playlist for slow flows and bright hearts.
I’d love to know your favourite songs for staying warm in the midst of winter chills. Let me know in the comments or find me on Instagram: @laurenewilkie
I’m switching focus this month, from meditation to one of my other loves – Pilates! To get you in the mood, check out this month’s music inspiration – an upbeat flow that I use for some of my yoga/pilates fusion flows. It’s dynamic and energetic and keeps me going all the way till the end. What are you listening to this month? Let me know in the comments or use #novemberpilates
This month’s music inspiration – a bit pop, a bit indulgent … an upbeat hour of music making me want to move my body on my mat in ways that feel good. What inspires you to move your body? What are you listening to on the mat this month? Let me know in the comments or use #selfpracticeseptember
This playlist is designed with the following type of flow in mind: a short warm-up, a dynamic standing sequence, some seated poses and a lovely long savasana.
